Polycarbonate pool enclosures
Polycarbonate enclosures, also known as telescopic enclosures, turn the pool into a space you can use for much of the year. They create a greenhouse effect that warms the water naturally, keep dirt out and add safety.
At Total Pool we install low and high polycarbonate enclosures, adapted to the size of your pool and the space around it.

Low and high enclosures
Low enclosures are discreet and barely affect the view of the garden; they’re designed to protect and warm the water. High enclosures let you stand up and swim with the enclosure closed, extending the season much further.
Both are telescopic: their modules slide over one another to open the pool fully or partly on hot days.
Site survey and installation
Before proposing a model we check the measurements, the paving around the pool, any changes in level and the orientation, because they determine how the modules move and how well the enclosure retains heat. We then take care of the full installation and the adjustment of rails and locks.
Frequently asked questions
Can you swim with the enclosure closed?
With high enclosures, yes. Low ones are designed to be opened before swimming.
Does installation require building work?
Usually not. The rails are fixed onto the paving around the pool; we check this on the initial visit.
Is it suitable for pools on sloping ground?
It depends on the space around the pool. We assess each case before recommending a model.
