Winter covers for pools
A winter cover is the simplest and most affordable way to protect your pool during the months it isn’t used. It keeps out leaves, dust and sand, reduces evaporation and helps the water reach spring in good condition.

What a winter cover is like
It’s made from tough PVC tarpaulin, with reinforced edges and eyelets for fixing. It’s secured to the ground around the pool with tensioners and anchors that sit almost flush when not in use, so they don’t get in the way the rest of the year.
It usually includes a drainage system so rainwater doesn’t collect on top.
Made to measure for your pool
We measure the pool on site – including irregular shapes, steps and beach entries – and leave the cover installed and tensioned. If you prefer, we fit it ourselves in autumn as part of the winterising service and remove it in spring when we start the pool up.

Can the water be left in the pool with the cover on?
Yes, that’s what we recommend. The pool is winterised with water and treatment, and the cover protects it from above.
Is it suitable for irregularly shaped pools?
Yes. It’s made to measure from your pool’s actual dimensions.
Does a winter cover warm the water?
No. To keep heat in you need a solar cover or a pool enclosure; a winter cover is for protection.
